Shipping policy

1. Extraction & Solidification Period (Processing Time)

Every Specimen from momu is handcrafted upon order confirmation to ensure the highest archival quality. Please allow 3 to 6 business days for the extraction, solidification, and final laboratory inspection before the specimen is prepared for transit.

2. Transportation Method

To maintain the integrity of our fragments, we utilize EMS (Korea Post International Express) as our dedicated global carrier. This ensures prioritized handling and reliable tracking for every shipment leaving our laboratory.

3. Estimated Arrival Intervals

Once the solidification process is complete and the specimen has departed the lab, estimated delivery times are as follows:

  • United States: 7 to 14 business days.
  • Japan: 3 to 7 business days.

  • Note: Actual delivery dates may fluctuate due to local customs clearance, atmospheric conditions, or regional holidays.

4. Archival Accuracy (Shipping Address)

To ensure successful collection (delivery), please provide precise information:

  • For U.S. Collectors: Please provide your full address in English, including any Apt, Suite, or Unit numbers.
  • For Japanese Collectors: We strongly recommend entering your shipping address in Japanese (Kanji/Katakana). Providing the address in Japanese significantly reduces the risk of misinterpretation or delays within the local postal system.

  • Contact Information: A valid phone number and a 7-digit postal code (for Japan) are mandatory for international logistics.

5. Preservation Integrity & Damage Claims

Each specimen is double-protected using Inflatable Air Column Packaging and a Premium Archival Box to withstand the pressures of international transit. While our preservation methods are rigorous, should your specimen arrive with structural damage, please submit an Arrival Report (including high-resolution photos of the object and the external packaging) within 48 hours of delivery to [momuhaus@naver.com].

6. International Importation & Duties

All specimens are shipped from our primary laboratory in South Korea. Any customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees incurred upon arrival are the sole responsibility of the Collector (Recipient). These charges vary by country and are dictated by local government policies. If a shipment is returned due to a refusal to pay these fees, the original shipping costs are non-refundable.

7. Specimen Tracking

Upon departure from the lab, an Archive Tracking Number will be sent to your registered email. You may monitor the real-time trajectory of your specimen as it travels to its new sanctuary.
